INLINE RULES

Homes - Dark jerseys  Away - Light jerseys

EACH TEAM will play a four game minimum. Winners in each division will play 6 games total. Penalties are the same as a regular game/tournament except they are 1 minute long. Penalties do not start until the player is in the box. Most teams play every 35 to 45 minutes. Please do not leave the rink. The schedule is tight and we cannot afford delays. Games will start on time, regardless if you have all 4 skaters there or not. No Mercy rule will apply.

*USA INLINE rules are used, expect un-sportsman like penalties. If there is an abusive of the rules at the end of a game, the penalty can carry over.

The games are 12 minute running clock(stops for official time time outs)

  • 3 points for a win
  • 2 points for a win by shoot out
  • 1 point for a tie.
  • If the games ends in a tie, there will be sudden death shoot-out.
Faces offs only happen after a score, official time out or the puck leaves the rink. After a goalie makes a stop, there will be a quick whistle. The goalie will then pass the puck behind the net. The opposing team will back off the puck by 12 feet. Play will resume when the ref "waves" players on OR says "play it".
NOTE: If goalie tries to make a quick forward pass, the back off rule is nullified.

Teams can start their game with 3 players.

Breaks in schedule are "catch up times". They are never taken unless the game officials or tournament director(s) use them. Shoot's outs etc causes some delays.
Shoot-outs
Each tied team selects in order shooters 1-4* A coin toss will decide who gets to shoot first. SHOOT-OUTS are sudden death. When one team scores and the other team does not in any given round, the shoot-outs ends.
If the teams are still tied after one full round, the game ends in a tie. IF THE SHOOT OUT IS DURING THE PLAY-OFFS OR FINAL ROUND BEGINS AGAIN.
*When a team is playing with less 4 skaters due to suspension, injury etc., the tournament director(s) or game officials (when necessary) will decide the number of shooters each team can use.
 The following determines rankings:
Most Points
Head to Head
Most wins
Fewest Goals against
Most Shut outs
Fewest penalty minutes
Goal differential
Shoot Out

Major Penalty results in a game misconduct. By discretion of the tournament director(s) or game officials, penalized(s) players maybe suspended for the rest of the game.

ABUSIVE and PROFANE language will not tolerated. Fighting also not tolerated.

All teams have to be checked in 30 minutes before the start of their division starts. Team names will be added to the schedule on the day of the event.
